| My Compact long wheelbase bike. This one I made out of 4130 .035 cromoly tubing. The frame is all tig welded. Steel is less time consuming than carbon fiber,and for this design suits it well being more of a cruiser than a racing bike. The Gearing uses a mid drive so I did not need a huge chainring up front for top gear and have a range of 19 to 135 gear inches, nice in this area of the catskill reagion. |
